Great to meet you!

I take a direct, structured approach to therapy. We’ll focus on understanding patterns, building awareness, and making practical changes that improve how you feel and function.

I work best with clients who are ready to engage in the process and want more than just a place to vent. If you’re looking to better understand yourself and create real change, we’ll likely be a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, relational, and structured. I focus on helping you build awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, and then translating that insight into meaningful change.

We often begin with mindfulness to increase real-time awareness, and I may incorporate focused journaling between sessions to deepen the work. I integrate approaches such as CBT, DBT, and parts work (Internal Family Systems), with an emphasis on self-compassion and understanding the different parts of your internal experience.

Therapy with me is collaborative and active. We’re not just exploring what’s happening—we’re working toward clarity, shifts in patterns, and changes that feel sustainable in your day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a full intake. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping will be different. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, current challenges, and any patterns that may be contributing to what’s going on.

This is also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work. I tend to be active and engaged—I’ll ask direct questions, offer observations, and begin helping you make connections in real time.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your goals and whether working together feels like a good fit.
