Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Robbin. I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC1) with over 15 years experience working with clients in a helping profession. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, substance use, recovery, and more.

My professional experience has taught me that there is no single path to healing or personal growth. Everyone brings their own experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals to therapy. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with understanding where you are now and what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, practical, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing and feel heard and respected.

Together, we’ll identify your goals, build on your strengths, explore patterns that may be getting in the way, and develop coping strategies that are realistic and meaningful for your life. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you gain insight, develop tools, and move toward the changes you want to make.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain about what comes next, or simply want to better understand yourself, you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin wherever you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. You can expect a comfortable, supportive environment where you can share at your own pace. There is no expectation that you have everything organized or know exactly what you need from therapy on the first day.

My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how therapy can support you moving forward.
