Great to meet you!

I'm a dual board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner with a background that started in pain management and rheumatology before leading me to psychiatry. That path gave me a deep appreciation for how physical and mental health are inseparable — and a practical understanding of chronic illness, complex medications, and coordinated care that most psychiatric providers don't have. I specialize in older adults managing chronic conditions alongside depression, anxiety, or cognitive concerns, and I bring a whole-person perspective to every patient I see.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the belief that mental health can't be treated in isolation from physical health. I focus on comprehensive medication management that accounts for everything going on with a patient — not just their psychiatric diagnosis. I tend to be direct and practical, and I work closely with other providers when coordinating care is important. For patients dealing with memory concerns or cognitive changes, I take extra care to involve family members and caregivers as appropriate.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. I want to understand your full picture — what's brought you in, your medical history, current medications, and what you're hoping to get out of treatment. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of my initial impressions and a proposed next step, whether that's a medication adjustment, further evaluation, or a collaborative care plan. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and with a concrete path forward.
