Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Robert Aurilia, MSN, PMHNP-BC. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric medication management for adults experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and other mood-related concerns.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent nearly a decade working as a registered nurse in high-acuity hospital settings. That experience gave me a strong understanding of the connection between mental and physical health, while also helping me develop a calm, practical, and patient-centered approach to care.

Many of my patients come to me after feeling frustrated with previous treatment experiences, medication side effects, or difficulty finding a treatment plan that truly helps them feel better. My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and individualized. I focus on evidence-based medication management while making sure patients feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in decisions regarding their care.

I completed my graduate training at Wilkes University and gained additional clinical experience in telepsychiatry treating a wide range of mental health conditions. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan focused on improving day-to-day functioning, emotional well-being, focus, and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I try to keep things collaborative and supportive, making sure you feel comfortable and heard—especially in a virtual setting. I like to create a judgment-free space where we can talk openly about what you’re going through and figure out a treatment plan that actually works for you. I focus on personalized, evidence-based medication management, always keeping your goals, lifestyle, and comfort in mind. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, focused, and confident as you work toward better mental health.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll keep things relaxed and conversational. We’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you here. I’ll ask about your symptoms, history, and goals so we can figure out a treatment plan that actually works for you. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we work together on your mental health and overall well-being.
