Great to meet you and welcome to Breath & Believe Christian Counseling!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Financial Planner® and an ordained minister. Ordained in 2005, I am married to my beautiful wife for over 40 years and we have a 37-year-old son and a 35-year-old daughter. In ministry many have come seeking help. It was during these times when I heard the call to go back to school and earn my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Through education and working directly with clients my focus has shifted to Couples Counseling, Family Counseling, Christian Counseling, Generational Trauma, and Adult Victims of Childhood Sexual Abuse. I am also certified in Dementia Care.

My approach to therapy:

My strategy is Person Centered understanding that every individual has their unique story and is important, worthy of respect and care. Therapy is judgement free and a safe place where each person can truly be free to be open and honest with me and themselves in mind, body and Spirit, taking a holistic approach. I prefer seeing my clients in person however, will meet some clients virtual if needed.

What you can expect from me:

In our first session, I will learn all about you, what’s important to you and why you are in therapy. I will listen to your whole story. You can expect honesty, and a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and opening yourself to personal and spiritual growth. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
