Great to meet you!

Life can be challenging, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. As an open-minded and compassionate therapist, I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling. As a military veteran, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight into the unique challenges faced by service members, veterans, and military families. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients 13 years of age and older experiencing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, and navigating legal challenges. I also provide couples counseling, helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a strong therapeutic foundation together. During this appointment, I will complete a comprehensive clinical assessment designed to better understand your unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. This process helps me develop a personalized clinical understanding of your situation and allows me to provide thoughtful recommendations tailored to your needs.

Equally important, the initial session is a chance for us to get to know one another and establish a level of comfort and trust. Finding the right therapeutic fit is an important part of the counseling process, and I encourage open dialogue about your expectations, concerns, and goals for treatment. My goal is to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where you feel respected, understood, and supported as we begin working together toward meaningful change.
