Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia where I earned my undergraduate as well as my graduate degree. I have been working with adults in therapy for over 30 years on issues ranging from depression and anxiety to ADHD, occupational stress as well as many other issues.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of treatment approaches but focus much of the work I do on CBT strategies and solution focused strategies. I truly believe that if we change the way that we think, we have the power to change our lives. I am also a big proponent of work outside of the session. In my over 30 years of counseling experience those who’ve benefitted most from therapy have been those willing to be intentional about practicing treatment recommendations outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

My approach is encouraging and inspirational, and even when things don’t work out as fast as you would like, you will leave each session with a lot of encouragement to keep trying.
