Great to meet you!

I have been working with addiction, trauma, and autism for more than 30 years. What I have found is that it all comes down to how the trauma induced by life changes the brain. Trauma is not really well understood or described in our society. Still, essentially, trauma is what happens to the wiring of the brain when certain difficult or dangerous/harmful events present themselves. Having been clean from addiction myself for 36 years, I get this from the inside out. I would love to begin helping you travel your path and enjoying even the difficult moments along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy might be seen as eclectic because I consider every method simply a tool in the toolbox. Where I begin is dependent solely on your needs in the situation. That said I tend to do a lot of sensation recognition and bodywork. In addition, I train extensively in mindfulness.

What you can expect from me

My job is to walk with you. To find the difficult spaces, help you hold those and then we work on things like boundaries, identity, etc. The answers honestly are already in you. We just have to clear away the clutter to find them. Through psychoeducation and brainwork we can do that.
