Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in community mental health and wilderness therapy settings. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and families experiencing conflict, trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, and significant life stressors.

My clinical experience includes providing family therapy, individual therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning using evidence-based approaches such as Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. I have worked alongside multidisciplinary teams to help clients strengthen relationships, improve communication, and develop practical skills for lasting change.

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College and am committed to providing compassionate, collaborative care that recognizes each client's unique strengths and circumstances.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work alongside clients to better understand the patterns that influence their thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and emotional well-being, while helping them build practical skills that support meaningful change.

Drawing from Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care, I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. Whether working with individuals or families, I emphasize healthy communication, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and strengthening relationships. I believe lasting change happens when clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to build on the strengths they already possess.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. We'll discuss your concerns, your goals, and the important relationships and experiences that have shaped your current situation. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit for working together.

I strive to create a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly at your own pace. By the end of our first meeting, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a plan that reflects your needs, strengths, and hopes for therapy.
