Great to meet you!

I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and 22 years experience treating a range of difficulties with clients from all walks of life. I've narrowed my practice over the years to working strictly with adults and couples. While my postdoctoral work was focused on mood and anxiety issues, I have both training and experience with relationship issues, binge eating conditions, work/school stress, grief, and Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAT).

My approach to therapy

I mainly practice from a Cognitive-Behavioral model, which is a here and now, proactive, skills-based therapy. Years of research suggest this is the most effective approach for many conditions. That said, not all clients find this approach helpful. Because of this, I have both training and experience with all of the major models of therapy, so together we will develop a plan that will be tailored to your needs. I am also qualified to provide Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP).

What you can expect from me

Ideally, clients will leave their initial session with a hopeful mindset about possible changes in their life. Many sessions involve developing a specific skill or mindset, and usually clients will have a homework assignment to help cement key points we've discussed in session.
