Robert Evers

Hello, I'm Robert Evers, MS, NCC, LAC, LCADC, CCTP-II, CATP, CMHNS, CPT. I have worked in co-occurring treatment for over a decade with individuals dealing with addiction and mental health issues. My educational background is in psychology, clinical mental health, and vocational counseling from Rutgers University.

I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, providing compassionate support and evidence-based interventions to help individuals navigate their journey to recovery and wellness. I am committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those I serve.

I have worked with individuals struggling with abuse of drugs and alcohol, criminal thinking patterns, depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and self-limiting beliefs.

I come from an existentialist and internal family systems, trauma-informed philosophy, with pragmatic, evidence-based approaches rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical emotional regulation, and mindfulness. I help one identify the functions of what is creating issues in their life and find solutions to heal and thrive.

I try to give the individual space to feel comfortable expressing what can be uncomfortable, so they can have a safe space to process their problems and identify ways to enrich their life.
