Great to meet you!

I've walked a number of paths in psychotherapy and have worked with many different kinds of people; my adaptability to folks' individual needs is one of my priorities as a clinician. In recent years, I've developed a passion for working with issues of spirituality, complex trauma, family difficulties, and mood disorders, particularly as related to people in the LGBTQIA community. Fostering healthy and thriving relationships are central to my identity and work as a clinician.

My approach to therapy

I practice from a relationship and research driven framework; this means that our work is rooted in mutual care and respect, clear goals, and strategies tailored to your needs. I rely on your feedback to guide our work, and adapt the theory I work from based on your resources, processing style, and readiness for change. My couples practice is primarily based out of the Gottman Method, which is currently one of the most highly researched and validated approaches to couples relationships.

What you can expect from me

I also integrate psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches into my work, whether with individuals, couples, or families. I work towards maintaining a developmentally informed, strengths-based, queer-friendly counseling environment. We're all just people walking through this weird thing we call life, and I'll walk it with you kindly, and authentically.
