Great to meet you!

Hi, I am a therapist seeing clients in North Carolina and California. I have a Masters degree in Social Work from UNC- Chapel Hill and completed clinical supervision in clinical psychology training clinics, substance use recovery programs, and community mental health agencies. I work with adults and teens struggling with substance use and process addictions, as well as depression, anxiety, panic disorders, and general life stressors like grief, or major transitions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use evidence-based therapies like psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have specialized training in CBT for Insomnia and as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider.

What you can expect from our first session

It's important for therapy to be a safe and welcoming place to explore difficult subjects. I aim to be encouraging, and build mutual trust as we work through your challenges. I also seek to be affirming of all identities and backgrounds.
