Great to meet you!

Taking better care of yourself is not selfish - it is often the first step toward feeling like yourself again. My objective as a counselor is straightforward: I want to help you care for yourself in ways that support real healing and lasting change. Many of the clients I work with are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship issues, and life transitions that leave them feeling stuck, drained, or disconnected. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes that improve your daily life, your relationships, and your overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is flexible, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. Depending on what you are facing, I may draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and existential approaches. Compassion and empathy come first, but I am also direct, encouraging, and focused on helping you make progress. I work with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, low motivation, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, and difficulty coping with life’s demands. Together, we identify patterns, build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create practical tools that help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control.

What you can expect from me

When we meet, I will begin by explaining my approach to therapy and emphasizing the importance of finding the right fit in a counselor. The first session is a chance for us to talk about what brings you in, what has been weighing on you, and what you want to be different moving forward. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, or major life changes, my goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and taken seriously from the start. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and discussing how therapy can help you address your concerns in a way that feels practical, supportive, and meaningful.
