Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Robert Lerma, a bilingual LPC with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, stress, life transitions/adjustments, and school-related concerns. My background in both mental health and education allows me to understand how emotional challenges can impact home, school, work, and relationships. I provide a welcoming, judgment-free environment where we can identify practical solutions, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and person-centered techniques tailored to each client’s needs. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical coping skills you can use outside of therapy. My goal is for you to feel supported while also leaving sessions with tools that help you create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is helping you feel comfortable, heard, and understood without judgment. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to change. We’ll identify your strengths, challenges, and goals together. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how we can work together and what our next steps may look like.
