Great to meet you!

I have served as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1995, working in hospital, private practice, and faith-group settings. I am an LPC-Supervisor, helping new counselors begin their professional careers. I served as a Minister for over 37 years. I am married to my wife Terri for over 40 years, and we have four grown daughters. Interests are music and teaching adult learners.

My approach to therapy

My role as a licensed professional counselor is to actively listen and offer perspective to allow the client to sort through their choices and suggest options the client may not have considered. The clients makes their decisions, with counselor support and encouragement, on how they will go forward with their lives. I offer a Christian counseling perspective for clients who want that, and respect the religious or non-religious beliefs of all clients.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a beneficial counseling experience, as the client and I talk through challenging issues together. My hope is to be a trusted helper to you in a time of struggle. The goal is to help you be in better control of your life and to live with more happiness.
