My name is Robert Posner, NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I take great pride in providing clients with guidance and support through their self-improvement and self-discovery journey. I have an extensive background working with all kinds of diagnosis but I specialize in treating anxiety and depression.
I work diligently with clients, motivating them make to make tangible and lasting changes in their lives. I am not a therapist that will sit back silently for the entire session. I will offer feedback, connect you with resources and hold you accountable to progress.
Clients can expect to be heard, offered advice, and assisted in clarifying what goals they want to work on. The client will be encouraged to use what is discussed even outside of session and assigned homework to help their progress. Client will be receiving a therapist who will work with them as long as needed.
