Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dr. Robert Ratajczak, a board-certified psychiatrist committed to providing thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized care.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. While I enjoy treating the full spectrum of psychiatric concerns, I have particular expertise in OCD and anxiety disorders, including less commonly recognized presentations. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy, emphasizing education, shared decision-making, and understanding the broader context of your life.

Whether you're seeking help for the first time or returning to treatment, my goal is to create a space that feels supportive, respectful, and empowering.

My approach to therapy

You can expect a warm, structured, and thoughtful environment where we focus on what matters most to you. Together, we’ll clarify your goals—whether that means improving your focus, finding relief from persistent worry or sadness, or navigating a difficult transition—and create a plan that aligns with your values and preferences.

When medication is appropriate, I take time to explain your options in plain language and work with you to find the lowest effective dose. I aim to be a reliable, responsive partner in your care—someone who listens closely, adapts treatment when needed, and respects your autonomy every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

  • Our first session is about understanding you—your story, your symptoms, and your goals for seeking care.
  • I’ll ask about your mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss whether medication, therapy, or a combination of both makes the most sense for you.
  • You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your next steps, and I’ll be available to answer any follow-up questions that may come up.
