I am trained to work with individuals, groups and families across all life stages. As one who has lived through so many of them, I also believe that you are never too young or too old to gain the insight necessary to understand feelings and change behaviors.
My therapeutic approaches span psychodynamic, psychoeducational, and cognitive modalities and include Person-centered Therapy, CBT and TF-CBT as well as Structural Family Therapy. However, I strongly believe that the alliance between client and therapist is the greatest predicter of a successful outcome.
Sessions are highly collaborative. Experience has taught me that the strength and insight is inside the client . My job is to help them uncover it.
