Great to meet you!

After graduating from American University with a degree in Anthropology, I traveled extensively, a time of inward and outward searching. Buddhist Monasteries in Thailand, Sufi Centers in New Zealand, finally earning a Master's Degree in Creation Spirituality from Naropa University. I began my mental health career working as a Developmental Play Therapist in LA but after relocating to the east coast I decided to obtain a second Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from La Salle University.

My approach to therapy

I subscribe to Irving Yalom's "fellow travelers" philosophy of psychotherapy that seeks to eradicate the old hierarchy of "therapist" and "patient." I consider it a sacred honor to be walking alongside my clients on the road toward more healthy, passionate, fulfilling lives and as such find myself just as inspired through the process of therapy as my clients are.

What you can expect from me

I am fascinated by life's "bigger" questions, and and attempt to a heart-centered intuitive existential approach with evidence-based CBT/DBT techniques in my therapy practice.
