Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, and trauma. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in clinical psychology. The majority of my work has been in individual therapy across multiple settings, including community mental health, private practice, and virtual treatment platforms. I offer a variety of therapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you establish a relationship with a provider who is a good fit for you. My style is a combination of warm and supportive care, evidence-based clinical treatment, and therapeutic challenging to move forward toward the goals and change that matter most to you. Together, we’ll work to better understand what’s keeping you stuck, build practical tools for handling life’s challenges, and create meaningful changes that feel realistic for you. My goal is for therapy to be a place where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being honest. It is also important the therapy process results in meaningful change that improves your life.

What you can expect from me

The therapy process will start with an intake appointment that will provide an opportunity explore the fit of the relationship, evaluate your mental health needs, and assist you in identifying a plan to begin your treatment journey. The initial appointment will also introduce information about the treatment process, informed consent, and space to ask and answers questions to assist you in making the best decision about the next steps.
