Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing telehealth therapy to adults and couples in South Carolina and Florida. I work with individuals and couples who feel emotionally stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—often related to relationship stress, anxiety, life transitions, or faith-related concerns.

My professional background is rooted in relational and systems-based therapy, with focused experience in working with couples, marital conflict, communication breakdowns, emotional regulation, and identity or self-worth concerns. I frequently support clients navigating separation decisions, trust issues, chronic stress, and relational uncertainty.

For clients who desire it, I also offer a biblically based, psychologically and therapeutically validated approach, thoughtfully integrating faith with evidence-based clinical care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is directive, structured, relational, and goal-oriented, while remaining emotionally grounded and collaborative. Being directive means I actively guide sessions, help name patterns, and keep therapy focused—especially when clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.

I help clients slow down, organize their thoughts and emotions, and develop practical strategies they can apply outside of session. Therapy is not passive or unstructured; it is intentional and designed to support clarity, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Attachment-based and emotionally focused therapy
  • Gottman-informed couples therapy
  • Emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills

When appropriate, I provide clear feedback, structured exercises, and between-session focus areas, while still respecting each client’s pace, autonomy, and goals.

What you can expect from me

I work as a client-centered, directive focused therapist. That means therapy is guided by your goals, values, and pace, while I actively provide structure, direction, and clinical guidance to keep sessions focused and productive.

Being client-centered means you are respected as the expert on your own life. Your concerns, priorities, and boundaries shape the work we do. Being directive means I help organize the process—asking focused questions, identifying patterns, offering feedback, and suggesting tools or next steps when helpful.

This approach works especially well for clients who:

  • Feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start
  • Want therapy that is supportive and practical
  • Prefer clear guidance rather than open-ended sessions
  • Appreciate honest reflection paired with compassion

Sessions are collaborative, intentional, and grounded in evidence-based care. You won’t be pushed or rushed—but you also won’t be left without direction.
