Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor–Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee, my work is rooted in a deep commitment to providing quality, compassionate care to the people of Appalachia. I believe that everyone—regardless of geography or background—deserves access to thoughtful, culturally sensitive mental health support. It’s my privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue healing, meaning, and connection.

My approach to therapy

In my individual counseling work, I support clients facing anxiety and depressive disorders, grief and loss, spiritual and religious trauma, identity exploration, and neurodivergent challenges. I emphasize holistic, person-centered care that integrates practical coping skills with deeper meaning-making and emotional growth.

I also provide relationship-focused therapy for couples and families, helping them improve communication, resolve conflict, and rebuild emotional trust. Drawing from attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and systemic family approaches, I help partners and loved ones find clarity and connection through their struggles.

My practice serves both rural and urban Appalachian communities with a focus on authenticity, accessibility, and respect. I understand the unique cultural strengths and barriers in the region and aim to make therapy a space that feels safe, personalized, and empowering.

What you can expect from me

Clients coming to therapy with me can expect a compassionate, person-centered approach that blends practical coping strategies with deeper emotional and existential exploration. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, spiritual trauma, identity questions, and neurodivergent experiences, offering holistic support tailored to each person's needs. In my relationship-focused therapy, I help couples and families improve communication, navigate conflict, and rebuild emotional trust through evidence-based methods like EFT and attachment theory. My practice is rooted in a deep respect for Appalachian culture, serving both rural and urban communities with a focus on authenticity and accessibility. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow. Whether you're seeking personal healing or stronger relationships, therapy with me offers a path toward meaningful change.
