Great to meet you!

I have been working in my private practice for 30+ years and have worked in hospice care and the Veteran's Administration. My experience includes working with those who are challenged by Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, BiPolar, and the Austism Spectrum. One's culture, including their family culture and their spirituality is important to recognize and value. We will examine the core beliefs that are not working for you and replace them with positive ones. I am from the Bay Area and graduated from the University of Santa Clara and San Jose State School of Social Work.

My approach to therapy

Environmental stressors can make life challenging, confusing, and difficult for many to see their path to wellness. In rearranging patterns that are not working, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help to develop new strategies/patterns of behaviors and goals that create beneficial results .

What you can expect from me

The client will learn new tools to balance their negative thinking that keeps them up at night. Through CBT and psychodynamic techniques, the client will feel supportive and develop new skills so they can begin to see a path to wellness.
