Great to meet you!

You've worked hard to build your life — but something from your past keeps pulling you off course. Maybe it's a trauma you've never fully processed, a pattern in relationships you can't seem to break, or a quiet voice that says you're not enough no matter what you accomplish. I work with high-achieving adults who are ready to stop just managing their pain and start actually moving through it. As a former performing artist and someone who has navigated the complexities of an interracial marriage, I bring real-life perspective to the table — especially for creatives and those exploring questions of culture and identity. You don't have to explain yourself here. I get it.

My approach to therapy

I use a blend of ego state therapy, EMDR, somatic work, and parts work to help you heal at the level where it actually lives — not just in your thoughts, but in your body and nervous system. Talk therapy opens the door, but EMDR and somatic approaches help your body release the survival responses (fight, flight, freeze) that get stuck after difficult experiences. Together, we work with your natural capacity to heal — not against it. My clients often describe feeling both challenged and genuinely supported, and that balance matters to me. Healing doesn't have to feel like a grind.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you're hoping life looks like on the other side of this work. I want to understand the roots of what you're carrying — not just the surface symptoms. By the end, we'll have a clearer sense of whether we're a good fit and what a path forward might look like. There's no pressure, no agenda to move fast. A good therapeutic relationship is the foundation of everything — and that's what we'll start building from day one.
