Great to meet you!

Marriage and Family Therapy is my second career, and the path that brought me here was both unexpected and deeply meaningful. Growing up, I had little understanding of how profoundly mental health shapes our lives, yet I’ve always felt a strong desire to help others. Life’s unpredictability reminds me that we live moment by moment, learning and growing as we go. My hope is that each person I meet in therapy continues their journey with courage and compassion for themselves, moving forward on their own unique journey.

Prior starting my private practice, I worked at a non-profit agency in various settings (outpatient clinic and school sites) and different roles (from therapist, family counselor to Director of an outpatient program). I also volunteered my time providing therapy to Spanish speaking clients in the community.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed perspective. I believe therapy works best when it fits who you are, so I adjust our work together based on your unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches—and sometimes integrate creative tools or other techniques when they feel helpful

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and understood. We’ll work together as a team—at your pace—to explore what matters most to you. I’ll meet you where you are and help you uncover what a meaningful, fulfilling life looks like for you. Think of me as a copilot on your journey, here to help you navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and stay aligned with your goals along the way.
