Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trained Psychoanalyst. I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in 2009 and my certificate in Psychoanalysis from NPAP (National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis) in 2021. I work over Zoom and in person in the Gramercy area of Manhattan.

My work and training have provided me with a deep understanding of complex family and relationship dynamics. I provide a working environment that is calm, empathetic, open-minded, and non-judgmental. I am a parent, pet owner and classical musician.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-led approach to therapy which means we work at your preferred pace and discuss the topics most important to you. We will work together to better understand your past and present psychology. We will explore ways to build on your strengths in order to facilitate you living as freely and fully as possible.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will talk about what brings you to therapy at this time and what you hope will change through this process. We may discuss your family history, prior experiences with therapy, and current support systems you have in place. I will answer questions you may have about this process
