Great to meet you!
I specialize in providing therapy for teens, as well as support for parents who are navigating the challenges of caring for autistic children, teens, or adults, or loved ones experiencing mental health concerns.
In my work with teens, including neurodiverse teens, I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building skills for emotional regulation, communication, resilience, and meaningful change.
I also work with parents and caregivers who may feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure how to help someone they love. Together, we focus on practical strategies for support, boundaries, advocacy, and hope.
I provide therapy using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and psychoeducation. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. My work is informed by diverse lived and professional experiences, and I strive to create a therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, respect, and genuine care for each client’s unique story.
I have been a counselor for 26 years in school settings and private practice, and I bring that experience to my work with individuals and families facing complex emotional, developmental, and relational challenges.
