Great to meet you!

I have been doing this work for 21 years, and the thing that has not changed is that I believe people are more capable of change than they think. I work with adults and teens dealing with substance use, anxiety, anger, and grief, the kind of stuff that is hard to talk about and harder to carry alone. I am direct and practical, and I will not waste your time with vague advice. I want to understand what is actually going on and then work with you to do something about it. I'm licensed in Arizona, Minnesota, and Virginia!

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and practical. We figure out what is driving what you are experiencing and build skills to address it directly. I draw from CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused CBT, and solution-focused approaches, guided by what fits your situation. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. If something is not working, we adjust. My goal is for every session to feel like it moved something forward.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation. I want to hear what brought you in, what your life looks like right now, and what you want to be different. You do not need to have it figured out. We just start where you are. I offer virtual sessions across Arizona, Minnesota, and Virginia, and in-person sessions in Phoenix. Reach out and we will find something that works.
