Great to meet you!

I am humbled to have referrals made to my practice. Many people connect me to their friends and family members because they are pleased with their therapy experience. I work hard in your therapy to help you meet your goals. My specialties include working with people experiencing disordered eating, depression and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The short-term and solution focus works well to get the most out of counseling. Skill building empowers clients to feel confident that they can keep the positive changes made in the therapeutic process. I am an active part of the counseling experience. Most people get "assigned homework" to help move therapy along.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to learn new behaviors to replace ones that are not functional, healthy or good for you. Depending on how you like to learn, I may give you a book to read, a handout to use as a reminder at home or perhaps an audio to supplement the work in the session today.
