I am a licensed psychologist specializing in stress-management, anxiety issues and depression.
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University (1999), trained at Montefiore Medical Center and Cornell University, and then worked as a researcher at Columbia University's Medical School. For the past 20 years, I have been a professor at William Paterson University, training doctoral and master's students to become licensed therapists.
I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and mind-body approaches to healing, so I can be flexible in my approach to working with you. I have expertise in a range of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and I bring extensive experience and training to my psychotherapy practice.
