Great to meet you!

Life can throw us experiences we never expect. I want you to know it takes a lot of courage and strength to reach out for support and be willing to address what is hurting us or blocking our way to wellness. I welcome you to come to me with what is hurting you or what may feel broken, or even if you just feel overwhelmed and confused about what you are feeling. It would be my honor to assist you on a new journey to wellness. I am an expert in helping with unfolding the layers, regardless of whether it is grief, trauma, or situational life stress. I have the degrees and training, but honestly, my life journey has been the biggest educator. I am a Mom to a disabled adult and have an elderly Mom. I also earned a master’s degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University while balancing my journey. I have served the National Suicide Crisis Life Line, and for the last 4 years, I have served Military One Source and our military families. I am an expert in crisis, trauma, and grief. I want to help you, and I will meet you where you are and help you on your journey to a new start. A new life balance. I believe in a collaborative approach to helping my clients reach a new beginning. You will be met with a safe and confidential place to express yourself, where you can share anything without judgment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative. I feel the best way I can begin to help is to meet you where you are from the first visit. I am solution-focused and willing to continue to help you advance to wellness on your new journey. I am well-trained and experienced in CBT, solution-focused therapy, and I take a trauma-informed approach from the first minute we speak on the phone.

What you can expect from our first session

What you can expect to take away from our sessions is someone who can help you look inside yourself. Find what is broken or missing. Find what might have hurt or impacted your life. Then, we can move forward with the therapy techniques that can get you on your way to a new beginning and wellness.
