Great to meet you!

Life can present us with unexpected experiences. I want you to know it takes courage and strength to reach out for support and to face what is hurting us or blocking our path to wellness. I invite you to come to me with what is hurting you, what may feel broken, or even if you simply feel overwhelmed and confused about your emotions. It would be my honor to guide you on a new journey to wellness. I am skilled in helping to unfold the layers, whether it’s grief, trauma, or situational life stress. While I have the degrees and training, my life journey has been my greatest teacher. I am a mom to a disabled adult and have an elderly mom. I also earned a master’s degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University while managing my own journey. I have served on the National Suicide Crisis Lifeline and, for the past 4 years, I’ve supported Military One Source and our military families. I specialize in crisis, trauma, and grief. I want to support you and will meet you where you are to help you start anew. I believe in a collaborative approach to help clients find a new beginning. You will find a safe, confidential space to express yourself, where you can share anything without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative. I believe the best way I can start helping is to meet you where you are from the very first visit. I am solution-focused and committed to helping you progress toward wellness on your new journey. I am well-trained and experienced in CBT, solution-focused therapy, and I use a trauma-informed approach from the very first moment we speak on the phone.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect to take away from our sessions is having someone who can help you look inward. Discover what is broken or missing. Identify what might have hurt or affected your life. Then, we can proceed with therapy techniques that can guide you toward a fresh start and wellness.
