Great to meet you!

Welcome! I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and my hope is that from our first session you'll feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I'm warm, down-to-earth, and bring a sense of curiosity, humor, and authenticity into my work. I believe therapy doesn't have to feel overly clinical, it's a collaborative space where we can talk honestly about what's going on, celebrate your strengths, and work through the messy parts of being human together. I have experience supporting adults, couples, and teens through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and substance use concerns, and I tailor our work to what feels most helpful and meaningful to you. Whether you're looking for practical tools, deeper self-understanding, or simply a place to exhale and be heard, I'd be honored to be part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and build on your existing strengths. I draw from evidence-based approaches including SFBT, EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll create a space that feels genuine and nonjudgmental, where you can gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and make meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what's been going on in your life, what you're hoping to gain from our work together, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say, this is a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and create a plan for how we can work toward them together.
