Great to meet you!

Always happy to help!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families. My professional experience includes inpatient hospitalization, community-based mental health, and private practice settings, allowing me to support clients with a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. I specialize in grief and loss, relationship concerns, caregiving stress, chronic and terminal illness, workplace burnout, and major life transitions. I also have specialized experience supporting individuals and families affected by Huntington’s Disease and strive to provide an inclusive, culturally responsive space where clients feel respected and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based practices to help clients navigate difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, improve communication, and develop effective coping strategies. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to build on their strengths. For clients who desire it, I can also incorporate faith-based perspectives into therapy.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if this is your first experience. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace and feel comfortable being yourself. During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. By the end of the session, you'll have a better sense of how we can work together and what to expect moving forward.
