Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Clients that I have worked with present with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life changes, women's issues and relationship issues. I believe in fostering change in people by identifying inner strengths and making positive changes, one step at a time. Making the decision to seek counseling isn't easy, and my initial goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is grounded in the belief of presence: the first step to any relationship/experience is to just show up. After all, that's half the battle. I am determined to provide you with my undivided attention to assess and meet your counseling needs free of judgement and prejudice. My hope is that we form a relationship based on trust, understanding, empathy, and unconditional positive regard in order to work as a collaborative team.

What you can expect from me

We will join forces to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systemic fashion toward realizing those goals. As a client, you deserve a fruitful life enriched with positive life experiences and a healthy outlook replete with the skills needed to make it through life’s hurdles independently. Wherever you are on your path, I want to meet you there and walk with you. I hope I can be that person for you for however long you need.
