I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 8 years in mental health and 30 years of nursing experience. I take pride in spending time with my patients and believe in patient-centered care. I offer medications and light talk therapy. Intensive therapy will be referred to another provider. My focus is ages 18 - 64 with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, stress, grief, loss, and other mental health conditions. I look forward to meeting you.

My approach is direct, warm, holistic, straight forward, and personable. I prescribe medication and include light talk therapy with brief interventions using different modalities. Modalities include interpersonal, patient-centered, strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, positive psychology, insight-oriented, and humanistic, using a holistic approach. Patients are required to address their medical needs by routine follow up with their primary care providers and specialists for medical issues, physicals, diagnostics, and labs. You will be required to monitor your weight, blood pressure, and pulse for telehealth.

The initial meeting will be an approximate 60-120 min. assessment with psychiatric, social, family, and medical history. We will develop a treatment plan with interventions, medications, and symptom management. Follow-up visits will be approximately 20-60 min. with an evaluation of progress and new developments. Accepting new patients with low - moderate level of care. No disability, workers compensation, FMLA, legal issues, or similar issues are accepted.
