Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience in behavioral health and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Mexico. My background covers outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, mental health, forensic behavioral health, and survivor advocacy. I've worked with incarcerated individuals, including those on death row, deepening my expertise in trauma, severe mental illness, personality dynamics, and resilience. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I bring a multicultural, culturally responsive approach. I provide evidence‐based psychotherapy grounded in theory and experience, offering nonjudgmental, respectful, collaborative care focused on individual values and goals. Many clients are high‐functioning professionals who struggle privately with anxiety, burnout, trauma, or relationship issues and seek deeper understanding and lasting change. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and chronic stress, including complex trauma and severe mental illness, with experience from crisis, forensic, and survivor work.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)‐informed interventions, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. I merge practical coping strategies with in-depth exploration of internal parts, relational patterns, and meaning, enabling clients to gain insight, alleviate symptoms, and develop enduring resilience.

What you can expect from me

During your initial session, we will take time to get to know each other and discuss the reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, current concerns, and the objectives you wish to achieve. This inaugural meeting serves as an introductory step, allowing you to pose questions, share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and assess whether this approach aligns with your expectations. My objective is to provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel secure, supported, and genuinely understood. Together, we will begin developing a tailored treatment plan that reflects your individual strengths, needs, and aspirations for recovery.
