Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey. I strive to provide a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your concerns and working toward meaningful change.

My background in nursing and advanced training in psychiatric mental health care allow me to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, sleep difficulties, and other mental health concerns. I recognize that every person’s experience is different, and I believe your individual needs, experiences, and goals should guide your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe effective mental health treatment involves looking beyond symptoms and understanding you as a whole person. I take time to learn about your concerns, history, lifestyle, stressors, strengths, and goals so that we can develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs.

I value shared decision-making and want you to understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and medications. I encourage questions and open communication throughout treatment so that you feel informed and actively involved in decisions about your care.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to treatment. We will discuss your current symptoms, mental health and medical history, previous treatments, medications, daily functioning, and what you hope to accomplish through care.

You will have an opportunity to openly discuss your concerns and ask questions. Together, we will review potential diagnoses and treatment options and develop an individualized plan for moving forward. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in your mental health care.
