Great to meet you!

Therapy is more than a place to process: it’s a space to evolve, reflect, and reclaim your sense of self. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I strive to create a grounded and collaborative experience that’s tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across a wide range of cultural identities, life stages, and experiences. My work is guided by a deep respect for how culture, identity, and family dynamics shape emotional well-being. I’ve provided services in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, integrated healthcare, academic settings, and outpatient clinics, which has deepened my appreciation for each client’s unique context and needs. I am especially passionate about helping clients explore the “why” behind longstanding patterns while also building practical tools for daily life.

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) and my Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). My academic research focused on cultural beliefs and help-seeking, and I remain deeply committed to providing culturally responsive, individualized care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both holistic and direct. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, while drawing from existential and humanistic frameworks that support deeper self-exploration, meaning-making, and emotional growth.

I believe therapy should address the full complexity of your lived experience. That includes not only your internal world, but also the cultural, familial, and systemic factors that shape it. Sessions are collaborative and intentional, centered on helping you gain clarity, identify values, and work through challenges with both insight and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and gently challenging. You can expect a space that balances compassion with honest reflection, where you’ll feel supported but also encouraged to stretch beyond old habits and stories.

Over time, clients often gain increased self-awareness, emotional clarity, and a greater sense of agency in their relationships and decision-making. My hope is that therapy not only helps you feel better, but also helps you live more authentically, with deeper connection to yourself and the life you want to lead.
