Great to meet you!

I have a BS degree in Health Science from San Jose State University and an MSW degree from the University of Southern California. Yes, I’m originally from California. I’m a licensed clinical social worker in both California and Florida. I was first licensed in 2003. For the first ten years of my practice, I worked with children, adolescents, and families.

I have over eight years of experience supporting individuals whose mental health is affected by health and medical issues. Finally, I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

My approach to therapy

I provide a safe space for you to discuss, explore, and process your emotions and behaviors.

It’s your session to use as you like, but please don’t break-up the furniture. It’s fine to raise your voice, cry, laugh out loud – I’ll be right there with you.

You will learn skills and strategies to better cope and deal with the symptoms you are currently experiencing so that you will be empowered to eliminate them and take charge of your life.

What you can expect from me

My therapy room is a safe place for you to speak your mind and talk about your issues, free of judgment or opinion.

Here, you can be expressive; raise your voice, shout out, and yes, it’s okay to curse during sessions – feel free, I won’t be offended.

I will challenge you to change that negative thought pattern and adopt healthier and more positive thoughts about who you are.

I will teach you skills and strategies to cope with depression and anxiety. I will also use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Therapy, to teach you how to break free from your shame, guilt, and embarrassment.

You will learn to set limits, create clear boundaries, and have healthy relationships on your terms.

Together, we’ll work on letting go of your fear and judgment so that you can feel at ease and empowered.
