Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rodrigo. I have years of clinical experience in psychotherapy and assessments. I am a psychologist from Chile and have been residing in New York City since 2000, working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. In therapy sessions, I address issues such as anxiety, grief, depression, and panic attacks, aiming to help individuals achieve emotional balance. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My work is characterized by assisting each person in finding meaning in their narratives, especially during existential crises or when confronting challenges as grief, sadness, loss, or overwhelming feelings.

What you can expect from our first session

During our sessions, we will focus on the way we construct meaning in our lives, rather than solely on isolated cognitions or symptoms. Our personal stories shape our behaviors and lives, whether in helpful or unhelpful ways. Together, we can work on unfolding this, with the goal of achieving emotional stability and self-confidence.
