Great to meet you!

Welcome, our first session is just getting to know one another. We'll have a private conversation about what brings you in & explore other general topics. And you may have general queries about my practice. I'm a licensed Clinical Psychologist, trained in psychotherapy with adults, families, and children. I have great experience working with adjustment problems for civilians and military personnel.

My approach to therapy

The foundation of my training comes from Neo-Freudian thinking and practice, holding an optimistic view of personality development. We explore interpersonal and social influences that affect adjustment problems and plan for change with follow-up.

I'm also trained in behavioral approaches, allowing for outcome-based goals, like Cognitive Behavioral/Processing Therapy. This often provides a foundation for symptom relief.

What you can expect from me

After exploring the presenting issues, we make choices for progress. We can use a brief treatment model that focuses on presenting issues with specific goals and follow-up.

Or we may review your psycho-social history to explore how that affects you and your adjustment problems. Follow-up allows for your continuing growth in a variety of areas.
