I have a doctorate in child counseling and masters in marriage and family counseling. My own experience of counseling stimulated me to pursue a career in counseling. Probably the most impactful learning for me has been being a father to two daughters and being married to my wife for forty-six years.
I believe we are not victims of our environment. I realize our environment impacts us greatly, but realize even though we decided something early on in life, we can redecide these today.
My objective is in counseling is to empower clients to chose their life. My hope is for clients to walk out of my office feeling hopeful and encouraged and have the resources to chose a different life for themselves.
