Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 8 years of experience providing psychotherapy services. I received my Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University following the completion of my internship at the Broward Sheriff’s Office. During graduate school, I completed my therapy training working with complex trauma in children and adults at NSU’s Psychology Service Center’s Child and Adolescent Traumatic Stress Program and Trauma Resolution and Integration Program.

My approach to therapy

I strive to provide a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental, and warm environment for my clients. I work from a trauma informed perspective and prioritizes tailoring interventions based on the individual’s unique contextual factors. I also utilize a variety of evidence-based treatments that include cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal strategies. I have experience working with a diverse range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.

What you can expect from me

To me therapy is a process of meeting an individual where they are at and helping them navigate the path to where they want to be. I always allow the client to sit in the driver's seat during sessions, while I sit in the passenger's seat, helping to empower and validate, while staying focused on solutions.
