Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and centered on creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment or pressure to fit into someone else’s idea of how you “should” think, feel, or live. My own experience as a neurodivergent person, along with my personal and professional experience with neurodiversity, has given me a genuine understanding of how differently each person can experience the world and their own mind. I enjoy helping clients understand how their unique brain works, recognize their strengths, and find ways to work with themselves rather than against themselves. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults as they discover who they are, set goals, and navigate life’s challenges, while welcoming clients at every stage of life.

My approach to therapy

believe you don’t have to change who you are to be accepted, understood, or connected to others. Instead, I help people recognize their unique strengths and learn how to let those strengths work for them. We can acknowledge differences without feeling the need to change our way of thinking or dim who we are to make others comfortable.

What makes my approach stand out is that I don’t believe in forcing people into a particular way of thinking. I listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer new perspectives, and help clients better understand themselves.

My goal is to help people recognize that the qualities that may have made them feel different can also become some of their greatest strengths. I want each person to leave our sessions feeling more understood, more confident in who they are, and better equipped to embrace their own perspective.

What you can expect from me

When I look back on my own life, I realize how valuable it can be to have someone who can offer an objective perspective and help you see things you may not be able to see on your own. At times, I may not have recognized certain possibilities simply because I was younger, had less experience, or didn’t yet know how to look at things from a different perspective. Having someone to help me think outside the box, recognize my strengths, and create meaningful goals could have made a real difference.

Those experiences helped inspire me to become a therapist. I want to be that supportive, objective person for others—someone who listens without judgment, helps you make sense of your experiences, and works alongside you to discover what is possible. I especially enjoy helping clients identify their strengths, create meaningful goals, and find a path forward that feels achievable and true to who they are.
