Great to meet you!

Welcome! Taking the first step toward better mental health isn't always easy, and finding a provider who truly listens can make all the difference.

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I came to psychiatry after 14 years in healthcare. Before I began prescribing, I worked as a registered nurse and clinical supervisor in ICU step-down, emergency, cardiovascular, geriatric, and correctional settings in large hospital systems across four states.". That background shapes how I practice today: I've cared for people at their most acute, I understand how medical conditions and medications interact with mental health, and I've learned to build trust quickly with people who weren't expecting to trust a provider.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, insomnia, and other common mental health concerns. As a fully bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking provider, I offer complete psychiatric care for Spanish-speaking patients who prefer treatment in their native language.

My goal is to provide compassionate, thorough, evidence-based care in an environment where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your treatment.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best treatment begins with understanding the whole person—not simply treating a diagnosis. Every recommendation is individualized and based on your unique symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatry with thoughtful discussions about sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors that may influence emotional well-being. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that is collaborative, transparent, and tailored specifically to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a comprehensive 60-minute psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding you—not just your symptoms. We’ll discuss your concerns, medical and mental health history, previous treatments, current medications, lifestyle, and the goals most important to you. Thereafter, a clear picture of the findings and treatments will be discussed - this is were we will both decide on what is ideal for you, in a pressure-free, holistic and collborate fashion.
