Great to meet you!

Hi, there! I'm a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice in San Marino, CA. I've been a licensed clinician since 2012, and active in the field since 2006. My specialties include anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationship/communication problems, trauma, and mindfulness-based therapy.

My approach to therapy

My basic philosophy about therapy is that it's not so much about getting rid of something than it is about seeing it with new eyes. Instead of clinging tightly to how we want life to be (which may not be possible), perhaps we can open the hand and allow things to simply be as they are. If you can't change a situation, you can always learn how to relate differently toward that situation.

What you can expect from me

My patients are folks who want to make changes in their lives, and I teach them strategies that can create deep, meaningful, and long-lasting change. This kind of change does not need to take a long time to accomplish, and most of my patients take helpful strategies away from their very first session.
