Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to empowering you to meet life's challenges with confidence and clarity. I have been a therapist for four years and have worked in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings helping clients struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my work, I prefer to use a client-centered approach, with an emphasis on strengths and maintaining a non-judgmental space. I believe in the person-in-environment perspective, as we are all shaped by our worldview and influenced by personal experiences, relationships with others, and our environments. I aim to help you gain insight into your thoughts/behaviors/emotions, build coping skills, challenge negative thought patterns, and explore core beliefs, all while respecting your individuality and needs.

What you can expect from our first session

Initially, I always like to spend time getting to know you and helping you identify your goals for therapy. As we become more comfortable with each other, my goal is to work collaboratively with you and ensure there is a safe space for you to process and be vulnerable. I am here to support you in meeting your goals, which may be as your cheerleader and may also be to challenge you at times. I'm looking forward to being a part of your journey of healing, growth, and empowerment.
