Rolando Liyim

I am Rolando Liyim, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Financial Social Worker (CFSW) with 12 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with teens and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, financial challenges, and major life transitions.

I completed my Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Pennsylvania and received certification from the Center for Financial Social Work. In my previous roles, I have worked with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, as well as survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

I find that I work best with clients who are open to self-exploration and motivated to make positive changes in their lives. I'm genuinely excited to work with clients who are willing to embrace vulnerability and explore their emotions authentically. Clients who are eager to engage in the therapeutic process, willing to communicate openly, and committed to personal growth. Clients who are curious about their thought patterns and open to trying new strategies for personal development truly inspire me and resonate well with my approach.

In the first session, my goal is to create a foundation of trust and understanding. I aim to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and valued while exploring their immediate concerns. Additionally, we'll begin to outline their goals for therapy and discuss how we can work together to achieve them.
