Romalyn Aaron

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I am Romalyn Aaron, but you can call me Roma (like the tomato!). I have over 10 years of experience as a therapist working with all age groups from toddlers and the elderly. I have worked with a wide range of mental health disorders from adjustment disorders to anxiety and depression. I specialize in trauma, substance use disorders, familial relationship hardships, crisis intervention, and behavioral management. I obtained both a bachelor and a master degrees in psychology, a master in human services, a master in education, a master in counseling and doctoral level education specialist. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Education (EdD) in Community Mental Health Traumatology specialty. I am an Army combat Veteran with experience in working with Veterans and their families and connecting them with community services and resources. I am eclectic in nature, and utlize different approaches to fit the needs of the client. I am also an EMDR therapist.
